Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the most common questions customers ask about our FDA-cleared, home-use anti-aging devices. If you can’t find an answer feel free to contact us directly.

Device & Safety

Yes our devices are designed for all skin types and tones. They are non-invasive, non-laser, and use clinically evaluated LED wavelengths plus gold applicator making them safe and suitable even for sensitive skin.

Yes Kimera is FDA 510(k) cleared, manufactured under strict medical-device standards, and distributed only via our corporate store or authorized resellers.

No.

Because the device is non-ablative and non-laser, there is no downtime or redness. You may feel gentle warmth during treatment. Skin can be treated immediately after cleaning, and you may apply moisturizer or serum afterward.

How to Use & Treatment Schedule

For most users, we recommend 2- 3 sessions per week, using the device for 4 minutes per targeted area. Once you achieve your desired improvement, you may reduce frequency to maintenance mode

(Note: Always follow the included user manual for the exact recommended protocol.)

Yes cleansing before use and applying moisturizer or serum during use or afterward is recommended. Choose gentle, non-irritating products to maximize comfort and results.

Expected Results & Limitations

Many users report visible improvements (smoother texture, firmer skin, reduction in fine lines) after 3-6 weeks of consistent use. Results depend on skin condition, age, lifestyle, and adherence to treatment schedule.

While Kimera ICONIC delivers powerful anti-aging results for home use, it is not a surgical device. It offers non-invasive skin tightening and rejuvenation ideal for maintenance, early aging signs, or long-term care. For advanced surgical needs, consult with a plastic surgeon.

Anti-aging results are cumulative. To maintain improved skin firmness and glow, regular follow-up treatments (maintenance mode) are recommended. Continuing good skincare, sun protection, and healthy lifestyle supports lasting results.

Maintenance & Device Care

After each use, wipe the applicator tip gently with a soft cloth or alcohol wipe, avoiding submerging the device in water. Store the device in a clean, dry pouch or box, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

For hygiene reasons, we recommend each user uses their own device. If the device is shared, ensure thorough cleaning before each use.

With proper care and following usage guidelines, the device is designed for long-term use. Its LED module and components are engineered for many treatment sessions. Refer to the user manual for warranty and expected device life details.

Kimera uses different colors and wavelengths of LED Light Therapy, which have specific skin benefits.

As a result of aging, skin disorders, trauma, smoking or poor nutrition- healthy skin cells are compromised and unable to renew themselves naturally.

The skin uses the light as a source of energy to fuel and rejuvenate damaged cells, or, in the case of treating acne – kill bacteria. The energy stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, boosts blood circulation and accelerates tissue repair. During the treatment, you’ll simply feel slight warmth and vibration , just relax – Kimera will do all the work for you.

The main difference between Laser & LED Light is the way they admit light.
Laser Light is consistent whereas LED Light is inconsistent.
In a laser, light photons all travel in the same direction, culminating in a more concentrated light at the same wavelength. In LED Light, light photons all center on a single frequency but vary slightly, resulting in a more diffused light, making it non-invasive.

TREATMENT AREA
LED light is less concentrated – it covers a wider treatment area.

HOME USE APPLICATION
Hence the intensity of the light, laser therapy must be performed by a trained professional in a clinical setting. LED Light Therapy however can be safely used by the patient at home.

NON INVASIVE TREATMENT
Unlike the intense energy produced by Laser Light, LED Light will not damage tissue.

COST EFFECTIVE METHOD
The intense narrow light from laser light therapy requires more treatments more frequently when treating larger areas – therefore also costing more.
LED light can be used at home- Kimera offers unlimited treatments with a lifetime warranty.

The best results will be seen in an 8 to 12 week period, with continued improvement over a period of several months.

The treatment should be performed three times a week for the first month then only once a week.

Perform the treatment for 4-6 minutes on each area.

NO.

Red light treatments do not hurt. Unlike lasers or microdermabrasion, which use abrasion to transform the skin’s appearance, these treatments only use light. Users have not reported discomfort during treatments. The skin may feel warm due to the intensity of the red light treatment. This is normal

Red light therapy is safe and effective for all skin types and tones.

The only requirement is that skin is cleansed and dry prior to preforming the treatment – for effective light transmission.
Oil residue and bacteria that stay on the epidermal layer will interfere with the light and lessen its effect and final result.
